Poemflesh

#387

I sang a song
deep through turning seasons
oh the wonder

as sweet rain
began to restore and rebirth
that which I

thought was lost in me

Just beautiful, Cynthia!

Hi Cynthia! I read your profile - I am also an obsessive reader of books. Read anything amazing lately? I have to recommend "The Reader" (the movie just came out - but read it before you see the movie!!!!).

Happy new Year! I look forward to reading more!

Hi Cynthia! Another good wee poem that eases the mind.

Hi Charli, it's so cool to meet a
fellow obsessive reader. I read
the reader, and will see the movie
with my Mom.
I just finished two goodies or really three goodies while on vaca.
Fall on your Knees, Ann-Marie
Mcdonald - wow - absorbing!
And a double bill: The Secret Life
of the Lonely Doll, Jean Nathan and
the children's book that is written
by the woman in Jean Nathan's bio.
- Dare Wright [love that name!]
Excellent books, and the children's
book, written by Dare Wright is
wonderful, called The Lonely Doll.
Thank you for becoming a following,
will visit your blog, tonight or
tomorrow night.

I am a book junky too, though these days, I read more blogs than books. I like your poems, they have a tinge of sorrow, like moi.

Hi Meena, nice to meet you.
I do lean towards the melancholy
and love that feeling actually.
Right now I'm on a ballerina
book jag. Thank you!
