Triolet

Soul Satisfaction ~

One night he uncovered her soul.
One by one each precious cell at a time.
Patiently kissing open each fold.
One night he uncovered her soul.
With an ear to her heart, secrets were told.
He listens with care; her spirit no longer pines.
One night he uncovered her soul.
One by one each precious cell at a time.

A person is like an onion and the layers are that which has been placed to hide the sweet heart from all but the true.

Beautiful piece!
