WEdneSdaY'S cHiLd

Faith's Diary

A comet struck the shelter.
His zealot eyes pierced mine.
Sunlight appeared, sunlight on crack.
Crazy reds with long fingers. I had
a dose of reality that night;
As his mouth struck my mouth
again and again.

It was so intriguing I've read it a dozen times, yet it doesn't leave anything unsaid or incomplete. Really stunning!

Hi Scribbler. Wow! The ultimate compliment to read a writer's
work more than once. I'm so happy and humbled. I really tried to
make this a complete short story.

Thank You!

Meteor struck,
Shelter,
Shelter,
From the storm?

A kiss,
With weight,
Of love, lust, and need,

So much at once would break a lesser woman and create a lesser poem. :)

Cynthia said...

are always a thrill for me. Thank you so much!
